THE FOLLOWING RESPONSIBILITIES ARE AWAITING YOU:- Manage and oversee application development and maintenance in Global Commercial and Marketing.
- Functional and technical expertise in the design, development and integration of software solutions on Salesforce.com.
- Create and maintain system documentation as well as perform and coordinate testing with end-users.
- Supporting key users and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Design and/or implement modern, efficient and cost-effective solutions that can be reused by other global or local business units and advise internal and external stakeholders on licensing, architecture, data model design and coding best practices.
- Manage the process of new solution selection, RFPs, vendor demonstrations and evaluations, and final selection along with implementation and support of the new solution.
- Preparation of project plans and schedules for system/application implementations, upgrades and fixes according to the Merz SDLC, as well as management of the change control process and the release management cycle for applications.
- Coordinate activities with our external support organisation to ensure compliance with expected service levels.
- Oversee and support the design of the solution architecture and implementation at regional level.
- Maintain own devops operation and code review/quality monitoring for development work done by consulting partners.
- Degree in computer science/information systems or a related discipline
- At least 5 years' experience in a position of equal scope and responsibility
- Experience with Salesforce as well as Salesforce Lightning development experience
- Strong proficiency in general Salesforce configuration as well as SOAP and REST APIs.
- Demonstrated ability to think analytically and conceptually.
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork, organisational and work planning skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as with strong customer focus and interpersonal skills
